Weekend weather a mix of sun and showers

  • Print

The possibility of precipitation has entered into Winnipeg’s weekend forecast.

Let’s start with today. Environment Canada is calling for a 30 per cent chance of showers before the sun starts to peek through as the day rolls on. Look for a south wind of 20 km/h and a high of 29 C.

Tonight should be absolutely gorgeous, with a low of only 19 C expected.

Saturday is where things start to get a little uncertain.

A sunny morning sky will give way to some cloud cover in the afternoon. There’s a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms late in the afternoon and into the early evening.

It will also be a little breezy, with a south wind of 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h throughout the day.

Saturday’s high is 27 C.

Sunday, look for mainly sunny skies and a high of 24 C.
