What a surprise, it's going to be sunny and hot today
The normal high for this time of year in Winnipeg is 26 C, and that’s what the city can expect today, says Environment Canada.
Sunshine and a very high ultraviolet-ray index are also in the forecast today for the city.
Saturday, a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 30 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers with a risk of a thunderstorm late in the afternoon are expected. Ditto for Sunday, with a high of 31 C and a mix of sun and clouds.
Next week through Thursday, sunshine and slightly-above normal temperatures are forecast.
