Wind chill adds up to a cold day

Time to bundle up again.

Although today’s temperature will hold steady near -15C, with periods of light snow, the wind chill with a 20 km/h winds from the northwest is -27.

Then it gets worse.

According to Environment Canada forecasts, the wind chill will plummet to - 36 tonight with a 60 percent chance of flurries, and a north wind of 30 km/h.

Thursday will be cloudy with a 60 percent chance of flurries, clearing in the afternoon, with a high of - 21C and an overnight wind chill of-38.

Sunny on Friday with a high of -27C and a low of -35C.

On the weekend, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high -11C and a low of -30C on Saturday, and on Sunday a high of -17C and a low of -28C.
