Windy, warm day ahead, with chance of rain

  • Print

Today’s forecast has been amended slightly but it still should be rather nice out.

Environment Canada has dialled back the expected high of 14 C, and is now calling for a temperature in the 10 C range. Look for clouds to move into the Winnipeg region this afternoon, with a 30 per cent chance of showers possible late in the day.

The wind will be the real story: west at 40 km/h, gusting to 70 km/h late this afternoon.

That stiff breeze should stay with us tonight. The low is expected to be just above the freezing mark.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected for Thursday, with a high of 7 C.

Friday’s high could get up to 11 C before snow and cooler temperatures move into the region Saturday.
