Be ready for rain this week

  • Print

It wouldn’t hurt to have the rain gear at the ready for the next couple days.

Environment Canada is calling for increasing cloudiness this morning and a northeast wind of 20 km/h in the afternoon. There’s a chance of a late-day shower, as well. Today’s high is 20 C.

Tonight, the rain is expected to start around midnight and it will be a little windy, blowing from the northeast at 40 km/h and gusting to 60 km/h at times. Tonight’s low is 14 C.

Simply put, Thursday is all wet. The rain is expected to be on and off throughout the morning, finally coming to an end in the afternoon. There’s a risk of a thunderstorm in the morning and in the early afternoon.

The wind will also be part of the story, switching from the north at 40 km/h and gusting to 60 km/h in the afternoon. Thursday’s high is a below-normal 17 C.

Sunshine and seasonal highs (21 C) are expected for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
