Today’s forecast says it will be 10 degrees colder than normal and it might snow today in Winnipeg.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is it will be even colder Monday, with a wicked north wind gusting to 50 kilometres per hour and a high of -5 Celsius, Environment Canada says.
The normal daytime high temperature at this time of year in Winnipeg is 8 C.
Sunshine is expected for the entire week with temperatures slowly creeping up to -1 C Thursday and 4 C by Friday.
