INTERACTIVE MAP: Winnipeg's most-ticketed parking meters

The Winnipeg Free Press used freedom of information legislation to request access to the entire parking ticket database dating back to Jan. 2007.

Ten days later — record time for such a request — the Winnipeg Parking Authority sent us a CD that listed 351,306 violations, their location, fine amount, date and time. In other cities, parking authorities have stymied journalists for months asking for the same raw data.

There were about 94,000 tickets issued at expired parking meters. Here are the top 25 most-ticketed meters -- click on any icon to find out how many tickets were issued there.
