A 27-year-old woman is in stable condition after being hit by a car early Saturday morning.
Saturday at about 3:45 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service and other emergency personnel responded to the area of McPhillips Street and Logan Avenue regarding a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
The investigation revealed that a red Toyota Corolla was travelling southbound on McPhillips Street when a pedestrian ran onto the roadway, resulting in a collision.
The 27-year-old female pedestrian was transported from the scene in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.
The roadway was closed to traffic until about 7:10 a.m. while officers investigated.
