Woman sexually assaulted while jogging

A male groped a 27-year-old woman from behind about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday while she was  jogging in the area of Ness Avenue and Sturgeon Road, police report.

The woman wasn't injured, and the male fled towards Portage Avenue.

The male is described as:

  • Black
  • 20-25 years of age
  • 6’1" tall
  • Slim build
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a black-and-white checked buttoned shirt and dark pants

Members of the District 2 Crime Unit are investigating. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the male is asked to call 204-986-2839 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
