  • Print

Treherne RCMP are looking for a woman who allegedly held up a store in Notre Dame de Lourdes Saturday night while armed with a rifle.

Sgt. Rob Lockhart said police were called about 9:30 p.m. Saturday night: "A lone female had entered a business brandishing a rifle.

The female fled the location with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, heading westbound on Notre Dame Avenue West on foot. There were no injuries."

Lockhart described the suspect as "about 5-feet-2 tall with a chubby build. She was wearing a black hoodie with a black and red bandana which was covering her face to her eyes. She had a darker complexion similar to someone who is Filipino or Aboriginal, she did not have a Filipino accent."

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Treherne RCMP at 204-723-2345.
