Alleged thief returns for dropped wallet
RCMP have arrested an 18-year-old man who allegedly left his wallet at the scene of a crime.
RCMP responded to an alarm in a restaurant in the south end of Dauphin on Tuesday.
Police said a quantity of cash had been stolen from the premises.
While officers were still on the scene, the suspect returned to the restaurant to retrieve his wallet, which he had allegedly dropped during the break-in.
Tarrin Clayton Robert Grimolfson has been charged with breaking and entering and theft. He is to appear in court on Aug. 28.
