App points to recycling depots
WANT to know where to recycle used oil or used tires?
There's now a free app for that.
The province released a smartphone app and website Thursday that maps out recycling depots in Manitoba.
Conservation and Water Stewardship Minister Gord Mackintosh said the province was moving to ban certain dangerous materials from landfills such as used antifreeze and lead-acid batteries.
