A 29-year-old man died after hitting a tree in Bissett Sunday morning.
RCMP said the incident happened about 3:30 a.m. on Antonio Street in Bissett, 230 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg.
Police arrived and found a car in the ditch that had hit a tree.
The driver was found dead inside the vehicle, police said in a release.
Two passengers, a man and woman, were inside the car and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The accident remained under investigation.
RCMP said alcohol was suspected to be a contributing factor.
