Salisbury House offering The Forks Shuttle

WINNIPEG--Don’t feel like walking all the way from the The Forks to the Sals on the bridge for a nip?
Salisbury House is sponsoring  The Forks Shuttle this summer.
Two open-air vehicles will operate on a circuitous path throughout The Forks site and L’Esplanade Riel, offering free rides to visitors to the area.
The service is being officially launched Tuesday morning.
"Our goal is to heighten our guests’ experience by offering them a free, convenient opportunity to move freely throughout the entire area," Earl Barish, Sals’ president and CEO said in a prepared statement.
The Winnipeg institution famous for its burgers called nips was established in 1931 and today has more than two dozen outlets in the city and surrounding communities. Salisbury House is owned and operated by a group of local investors that include Earl and Cheryl Barish and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who.
