INCIDENT 163

When: Jan. 22

Where: 1900 block of Pembina Highway

Two men entered an electronics store and stole a laptop computer from a locked cabinet. They removed the computer from its box, concealed it and left the store without paying. The following day they returned to the same store, but before they were able to pull off another theft an employee recognized them and confronted them about the theft of the laptop. The pair fled the store. The original theft was captured on store cameras.

INCIDENT 164

When: Sept. 16

Where: 1000 block of Henderson Highway

A man entered a convenience store and selected several items for purchase. When he presented the items to the clerk, he attempted to pay, but when he realized he didn't have enough to cover the purchase, he grabbed the merchandise and began to walk out of the store. The clerk attempted to stop the man, but he pushed the clerk away and made good his escape.
