INCIDENT 173

When: Nov. 16, 2011

Where: 700 block of Leila Avenue

A man entered a electronics store, went to the computer section, cut the lock to a laptop on display and left the store without paying after concealing the laptop in his jacket. He is also a suspect in a theft from a store on Pembina Highway.

INCIDENT 174

When: March 4 at 10:45 a.m.

Where: Adsum Street and Jefferson Avenue

A man and woman boarded a city transit bus. The man threw some coins in the box, but it wasn't the full fare. When the man asked the driver for a transfer, he was told he still needed to pay the full fare first. The man appeared to be about to strike the driver, but instead spit in his face. The driver stopped and the man and woman were about to exit when the male threatened the driver with further harm and then smashed a window on the bus. Both fled before police arrived.
