INCIDENT 231

When: June 20

Where: 300 block of Provencher Boulevard

A man entered a gas station and took some food items to the front counter. The suspect left the items on the counter and left the store briefly before returning and grabbing the items and running out of the store. The store employee followed after him, but the suspect produced a can of bear spray and threatened to spray the store employee. The suspect ran off with a woman who was riding a bicycle.

INCIDENT 232

When: Aug. 5

Where: 1900 block

of Elgin Avenue

A man entered a yard with flashlight in hand and proceeded to break into a garage on the premises and steal some items. The same man is believed to be responsible for similar offences in the area.
