A shooting in the West End Wednesday night that left a man injured may be linked to a gang dispute, police said.
However, getting to the bottom of the shooting at Young Street and Sargent Avenue may be difficult because the victim, 20, isn't talking to investigators.
Officers only learned someone had been injured after the victim went to hospital and staff called police.
He was treated and released for an upper-body injury, Const. Jason Michalyshen said.
Some of the players police have spoken with -- including the victim -- have ties to a street gang, police said.
Michalyshen said he couldn't say if it was an internal gang dispute that led to the gunplay. "We don't have all of the facts," he said.
