Last day to curb your enthusiasm

TODAY is your last chance to try scoring a free deal.
The city's fall curbside giveaway weekend ends at dusk today when Winnipeggers are supposed to remove any leftover items from their boulevards.
Examples of items the city expected to be out on boulevards this weekend include books, CDs and DVDs, electronics, small appliances, unwanted gifts, clothing and furniture.
A drive through the Wolseley and West End areas on Saturday afternoon found items on boulevards were far and few between and what was there appeared to be stuff nobody wanted.
Last week, the city asked bargain hunters to only take items marked free on boulevards and not to take anything on people's lawns or gardens. There have been complaints in past years people took kids' bikes left on front lawns.
The city also warned people not to put out hazardous material, unsafe items, or such things as mattresses or couches that could harbour bedbugs.
