Leisure Guide a catalogue of fun
LOOKING for some fall fun to ease the end-of-summer blues?
The City of Winnipeg announced the release of their 2012 Fall Leisure Guide on Friday. It's available at all civic indoor pools, libraries, leisure centres and on the city's website.
Sign-up for swimming lessons begins Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m.
Additional registration for swimming and all other activities will resume the following day, Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m.
In-person registration can be done at participating pools. The public is also welcome to register online or by calling the city's 311 information line.
