Linden Woods grow-op busted
A $1.5-million marijuana grow operation in Linden Woods was shut down and two people were charged on Thursday.
The grow-op, located in a residence in the 100 block of Castlebury Court, included 1,360 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1,523,200, police said.
Grow-op equipment valued at $25,000, eight kilograms of packaged marijuana valued at $45,000 and $1,150 in cash were also seized.
A 41-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man face a number of drug-related charges.
Both were released on a promise to appear in court.
