Brian Glow, a.k.a. the Master of Illusion, is trying to make bullying disappear.
The Winnipeg magician is touring northern Manitoba communities using magic to teach kids self-respect and anti-bullying techniques.
His tour includes a workshop and show at each stop. Glow was bullied as a child and has had an affinity for Manitoba's north since touring there in 1973 with First Nations singer Winston Wuttunee.
Perimeter Aviation is providing transportation.
Upcoming stops include Red Sucker Lake, Garden Hill, St. Theresa Point and Wasagamack, starting Wednesday, Feb. 13 to Sat., Feb. 16. The tour ends in March with visits to Brochet, Shamattawa, Lac Brochet and Berens River. Previous communities visited were God's River, God's Lake Narrows, Oxford House, Norway House, Cross Lake, York Landing and South Indian Lake.
