Man, woman charged after rural drug bust

TWO people are facing drug-related charges after RCMP conducted a raid in the RM of Tache.

A search of a rural residence and garage revealed a multi-stage growing operation, including 1,200 marijuana plants, growing equipment, two large generators and cash, RCMP said.

A 38-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested without incident at the location on Tuesday. Both were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court June 27.
