Murder charge for Flin Flon man
A 25-year-old Flin Flon man will appear in court today, charged with second-degree murder.
Mitchell Whitbread is charged in connection with the death of John Kellighan Eyres, 31, of Flin Flon.
At about 3 a.m. on Friday, police found Eyres stabbed in a home in Flin Flon.
He was taken to hospital but died of his injuries, police said in a press release.
An autopsy is scheduled for today in Winnipeg.
RCMP Major Crime Services, the RCMP Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section and members of the Flin Flon RCMP detachment continue to investigate.
