The Bible

Live-action sequences and CGI effects bring some of the most riveting stories ever told to life in this new five-part docudrama. The debut retells the stories of Noah and Abraham, as well as that of Moses and the Ten Commandments. History, 7 p.m.

The Celebrity Apprentice

Some of the most memorable stars from past editions return in this season première. When Donald Trump tasks them with selling meatballs for charity, one project manager takes an unconventional approach while another deals with a power struggle. NBC, 8 p.m.
