POLICE asked for help Sunday in finding a missing teen from Lorette, who is considered at risk.

Darian Thomas, age 14, was last seen during the evening of Aug. 18 in Lorette, about 25 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg.

Police believe he was riding his bike towards Winnipeg.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call St Pierre Jolys RCMP at 204-433-7433.

Teen ATV driver hurt

ALCOHOL is believed to be a factor in an incident involving an ATV near Dauphin Thursday.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., RCMP were called to a vehicle collision on Highway 20, three kilometres east of Dauphin. The investigation revealed a 15-year-old driver of an ATV lost control and was lying on the roadway when he was struck by a car.

The 15-year-old was taken to hospital. His condition was not reported to the media Sunday.

The driver of the car, a 45-year-old woman, and a passenger were not injured.

RCMP say alcohol consumption by the ATV driver is considered a contributing factor.

The investigation continues.
