Police lose track of high-risk offenders

Authorities have lost track of two high-risk sex offenders who were released into the community under strict conditions.

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help locating Martin Louis Patrick, 29, and Christopher Edwyn Murdock, 47.

Both men are under long-term supervision orders after prior convictions for violent sexual assaults. They have now skipped out on their conditions and are considered unlawfully at large.

Patrick was named a long-term offender in 2008, after he was convicted of sexual assault with a weapon. It was one of a long list of prior offences. He is 5-6 tall and about 217 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Murdock also has a long list of convictions for sexual assault, weapons and violent offences. He is about 6-0 tall, with black-and-grey hair and brown eyes.

Females of all ages are considered at risk, warned a police news release.

Anyone with information regarding Patrick or Murdock's whereabouts can contact the Manitoba integrated high-risk sex offender unit at 984-1888.
