'Awesome, selfless people' help cyclist
I don't know their names, but I would like to sincerely thank the four people who pulled over to help me when I crashed my bike and broke my wrist recently.
With so many driving past, you pulled over, helped me lock up and got me to the hospital. I am so grateful to you.
You made a bad situation so much less stressful. My unbroken hand has major birth defects, making even pulling my phone out of my pocket impossible. I was hurt, stuck and scared.
I don't know if I'll meet you all again, but I'll always remember how you calmed me down, got me where I needed to go, even made me laugh. You helped me in every way you could, and I would love the opportunity to thank you again in person, but if that's not possible Winnipeggers should know there are awesome selfless people out there willing to help wherever needed.

Went out of his way to help
AFTER visiting the ATM in the Safeway store on Kildare Avenue, I went into the store to do a bit of shopping. Unbeknownst to me, my chequebook had fallen out of my purse.
After I arrived home, Cathy Brown of the Bank of Montreal called to inform me a gentleman had walked into that branch with my chequebook. He said he had found it on the floor at the foot of the ATM.
He had come all the way from the ATM to the Bank of Montreal branch indicated in my cheque book instead of leaving it at the Safeway customer service counter. For that, I will be eternally grateful.
No one got the gentleman's name, but apparently he is a Bank of Montreal customer. So thank you so much, my friend. I really appreciate the fact that you went out of your way. God Bless you.

Kindness saved trip
MUCH much thanks to the customer at the Shopper's Drug Mart at Portage Avenue and Burnell Street who promptly turned in the travel documents I lost at the store on Wednesday evening. I am preparing for a trip to visit the grave of the grandmother I never met but always loved.
Your kindness and honesty lets me complete my preparations.

Made Fringe even better
A huge thank you to the super marvellous Winnipeg Fringe Festival volunteer at Old Market Square. She rescued for me a brand new pair of clip-on sunglasses.
I thought my carelessness had cost me, but she saved the day and made my Fringe experience that much more enjoyable.
