Snowmobile crash kills Little Grand Rapids man

A 43-year-old man has died after a snowmobile crash on Family Lake near Little Grand Rapids.

On Tuesday around 10:30 a.m., RCMP were called to an accident where a resident of Little Grand Rapids had been involved in a single-vehicle accident. He was transferred to the local nursing station but died of his injuries.

An investigation determined that the snowmobiler struck a dock. Alcohol and speed may have contributed to the collision. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
