Suspect charged after man found dead

RCMP got more than they were expecting when they were called to a disturbance in the western Manitoba First Nation of Keeseekowenin.

Yellowhead RCMP reported Sunday they were called to the Ojibway First Nation, about 110 kilometres north of Brandon, Friday night for a disturbance at a house, only to discover a man dead when they arrived.

The victim's name is Terrel Stewart Shorting, 34, of Keeseekowenin.

Terris Ronald Mintuck, 50, of Keeseekowenin First Nation has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
