Fourth man arrested in teen's slaying

Police have charged a fourth man in connection with the beating death of a 16-year-old boy.

On Sept. 4, Paris (Parrot) Rene Cameron Bruce suffered serious injuries following a vicious beating in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue. Police found him lying on the street and he was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Bruce died Sept. 7.

Michael James Guimond, 34, the reported leader of the Indian Posse, Richard Daniel Beaulieu, 36, and Warner Dairren Flett, 24, were previously arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with Bruce's death.

On Saturday, police arrested a fourth man.

Police arrested Gregory James Myerion, 37, in the area of Main Street and Pritchard Avenue. He was charged with manslaughter and was detained in custody.

The investigation into Bruce's death continues, and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 986-6508 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
