Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Leo.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Finally, clarity returns. This is an excellent day to strategize your life direction in general. Big topic, but why not? You feel serious about this and you have practical concerns about where you're headed. And so should we all. Where do you want to be five years from now?
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
This is a great day for study of any kind. You have the concentration necessary to focus on whatever interests you. It's also a great day to make future travel plans or look into legal matters or plan for your future education. (After all, you're in a serious frame of mind.)
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
You can get a lot done today if you want to clear up loose details regarding inheritances, taxes, debt, shared property, insurance matters or anything you own jointly with others. Just roll up your sleeves and begin. You'll be surprised at how easily it all flows!
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Conversations with partners will be productive, focused and civilized today. It's a good day to discuss how to share expenses or approach that touchy subject about the division of labour. Who takes out the garbage? Who empties the dishwasher? And just who is doing all the work around here, anyway?
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a highly productive day for you, especially at work. However, whatever task you attempt will flow beautifully because you have mental focus, concentration and endurance. Plus you're serious about achieving goals and seeing some results.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Artists and creative people can get a lot done today. For one thing, in the last few days, you've had lots of fresh ideas! Today, you can take these creative ideas from the abstract to the concrete. Get them down on paper. Or put them in whatever artistic form you choose. Just do it.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Discussions with family members, especially someone older, will yield productive, practical results. In fact, you might decide how to better secure your home financially or you might decide how to repair things so that everything lasts longer.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Choose mental work that requires concentration today because you've got lots of it! (Actually, you always do. You're a very focused sign.) In discussions with others, people will listen to you because you speak with authority today. (And it helps that you have that bullhorn.)
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Financial planning, budgeting and even thoughts about how to earn money are very solid choices today. You're in a serious, practical frame of mind, which could result in ideas that help you to make more money in the future. (Not another get-rich-slow scheme.)
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
It's easy to have an orderly state of mind and a sense of discipline today. (You love this.) You might also benefit from seeking advice from someone older, wiser or more experienced. Someone you respect. This is a day for serious reflection.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Research into anything will go well today because you have focus, concentration, and endurance. You won't give up until you find what you're looking for. Furthermore, your pace will be steady and reasonable. (You're not frantic or spread too thin.)
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
Someone older or in a position of authority might have good advice for you today. Or you might get chummy with this person, who knows? They might have ideas about travel, legal matters, publishing or how you can further your education. If you're lucky, they'll give you money, but that's a long shot.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Writer/artist Douglas Coupland (1961) shares your birthday. You are a pragmatic realist. You're very talented at communicating your views with very few words. You have the ability to see the faults of society or systems around you and suggest ways to eliminate them. You like orderly -- even minimalist -- surroundings.
