MOON ALERT Caution: From 3:15 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. avoid shopping or making important decisions. After that the moon moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Today is a bit vague and weird. And frankly, as the day wears on, it gets weirder. But this is just mild weird not Major Weird. You might find yourself interested in unusual people or esoteric subjects. You want the freedom to be able to explore new turf.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Things are a bit up in the air, so it's a poor day to make important decisions regarding inheritances, insurance matters, taxes, debt or anything you own jointly with someone else. Just tuck those matters away for another day. Protect your own best interests.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Conversations with partners might be a bit like two ships passing in the night. (Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.) Since you know that misunderstandings are likely, disappointments are also soon to follow. Don't take any of this too seriously. Where's your sense of humour? (One of you has it.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might make a half-hearted attempt to get better organized or improve your health. If this sounds pessimistic, it's just that it's hard for anyone to get behind what they really want to do. You're running in quicksand. Just do what you can.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Although this is not a particularly efficient or productive day, it can be a creative day for those of you in the arts or working in creative projects, sports or working with children. Although, you might find yourself second-guessing everything, your intuition and imagination will be strong.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Tread carefully during conversations with partners and close friends because confusion is rampant. Furthermore, it's easy to have unrealistic expectations, which, of course, means you will be disappointed. Or vice versa. Make light of things. Pshaw!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Do your best to be alert when driving, jogging or walking because a fuzzy element out there can make this an accident-prone day for you simply because of distractions or absent-mindedness. You don't want this to happen. Therefore, be alert. (The world needs more lerts.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a poor day to shop or make important financial decisions. Check with the Moon Alert above. It's very easy to be confused about something financially or to have unrealistic expectations. If something looks too good to be true, it is.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Check with the Moon Alert above to see when the moon moves into your sign. It's a loosey-goosey day but once the moon is in Sagittarius you will feel stronger and more focused. Don't make important decisions before that. (Forewarned is forearmed.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Today is vaguely confusing but don't worry about it because everyone is confused. You are not alone. (You've been burning the candle at both ends and now you want to know where you can get more wax.) Just coast. Things will feel more solid after the moon changes signs. (See Moon Alert above.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Even though you're focused on money, cash flow and earnings right now, today is not the day to spend money on anything except food. (See Moon Alert above.) Once the Moon changes signs, however, you'll feel very social, especially talking to females.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Do something different. Read something new, see an unusual movie, meet people from different backgrounds. Go someplace you've never been before. Don't take anything too seriously but do what you can to expand your horizons. Take banjo lessons. Learn the flamenco.
