Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all-clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

It's easy to identify with what you own, which is why you feel attached to something. You don't want to lend anything to anyone. You will enjoy cleaning, polishing or taking care of something, but actually, it's the idea about owning it that hooks you. I like the idea of owning a shiny new $100 bill.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You feel the need to belong to others, which is why you will hang out with loved ones. You might be emotionally giving or demanding -- it could go either way. Fortunately, your luck is a little better than usual.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Enjoy beautiful surroundings that offer you some solitude because you need to be private. You want to withdraw so you can collect your thoughts and emotions and pull your act together before you take it on the road. Can you give yourself this?

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Your contact with others is important, particularly contact with a female acquaintance. You might feel parental or concerned about someone. You might even feel jealous if a friend gives someone else more attention. (Silly but true.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

For some reason, you will relate to bosses, parents, teachers and police -- people in authority -- more than usual. Ironically, they might learn private details about your personal life for some reason. You might want to help someone or they might help you.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Because you feel restless, do something different. You want adventure and a chance to learn something new. Obviously, travel will delight, but if you can't do that, at least be a tourist in your own city. Go someplace you've never been before.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Make friends with your bank accounts and know what's happening to shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and insurance matters. Stay on top of these things because these interest you. After all, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You will have to go more than halfway when dealing with others because the moon is opposite your sign. This simply means you have to be co-operative and willing to compromise, if necessary. In two weeks, others will have to go more than halfway dealing with you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Matters related to pets and personal hygiene will be a priority with you. Basically, you want to run errands and cross off items on your to-do list so you feel more in charge of your life. Often it's those little things we can't seem to do that really bug us.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a playful, flirtatious day. Enjoy shmoozing with others and having playful times with children. Sports events will appeal or anything related to the arts, movies, the theatre and the entertainment world. Romantic partners look appealing. Time for a date?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Because your attention is on home and family, allow yourself some time and space to spend at home. Discussions with a parent could be significant. You might also want to cocoon at home with a favourite book or TV show. Perhaps a tiny bag of cheesies? (Did I say that?)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You will enjoy being out and about talking to everyone, sharing your ideas and, at the same time, listening to what others have to say. It's a strong day to sell, market, teach, act and write. Those of you who drive for a living will feel energized.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Musician Jimmy Page (1944) shares your birthday. You are purposeful and focused on what you wish to achieve. You can bounce back from defeat because you are also resilient. And you are resourceful! Hard work, ambition and dedication push you to success. You want to be the best that you can be. Good news: Your year ahead might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big!
