MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 2:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. After that the moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might like to cocoon at home because solitude in familiar surroundings will please you. It's a good day to putter with things, especially from the past, like putting photos in an album. Do people still do this?

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You want to have a heart-to-heart talk with someone. You don't want superficial chit-chat about the weather. Quite likely, a female relative, especially a sibling, will play a role in your day. It's also a good day for writing.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You have a strong attachment for something you own because of the moon. That's why it will please you to take care of something and polish, clean or repair it. These things are symbols of other times in your life and they are meaningful for you.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

The moon is in your sign, which makes you more emotional than usual. But there is an upside. Every month when the moon is in your sign for about two days, you have a little bit of extra good luck. Therefore, ask the universe for a favour. You just might get it.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Solitude in beautiful surroundings will please you. You need quiet time for some welcomed R&R. You don't feel like socializing. However, you might be drawn to mystical or spiritual disciplines. (Where is a Ouija board when you really need it?)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Conversations with a female friend will be significant. You want someone to confide in or vice versa. You might feel protective and supportive to a friend, but you might also feel jealous if this friend pays more attention to someone else. (Well, I should think so.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

For various reasons, personal details about your private life might be public, especially in the eyes of parents, teachers and bosses, VIPs and even the police. But you could use your increased visibility to your advantage if you're clever.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a playful time for you and you want to escape somewhere to have fun and adventure. You want more out of life. Although travel would definitely be your first choice, you might also entertain at home. It's all good. Enjoy!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It will please you to tie up loose details with debt, taxes, bills, shared property, loans, insurance matters, inheritances and stuff like that. When you let it pile up, it becomes a monster in your mind, doesn't it? Get some of this out of the way so you are freer.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Because the moon is opposite your sign, you have to be patient with others. Be conciliatory, supportive, forbearing and tolerant. (You get the picture.) Actually, you don't mind co-operating with others because then they owe you, don't they? (But who is counting.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You'll love yourself if you do something that will help to improve your health. You might consider a new diet or some form of exercise (pushing 60 is not enough) or anything that you think will give you greater well-being. Since this is your time of harvest, you must be performance ready.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Do something that pleases you. Have fun. Meet others for brunch. Enjoy sports events and playful times with kids. Be flirtatious. Take a little trip if you can. Some will enjoy exploring creative opportunities to express their Pisces talent.

Actor Raul Julia (1940) shares your birthday. You love many subjects because you are curious about everything. You especially like to explore the space around you and how to best use it. You are dramatic, imaginative and instinctive. You know how to give valuable advice plus you add positive energy to any group. This year is the start of a fresh new cycle. Open any door!
