TWO men were arrested in connection to the armed robbery of a Watt Street Domo gas station after police surrounded an Elmwood home Saturday evening.

Police blocked traffic on residential streets in Elmwood after information led them to two separate residences in search of the robbers, Staff Sgt. Andrew Smith said.

The other home was on Keenleyside Street.

A dozen police cruisers, including the force's tactical and canine units, were on the scene as officers surrounded a house on Union Avenue West between Watt and Roch streets.

Two robbery suspects were arrested, Smith said.

A teenaged boy and a middle-aged woman were also removed from the home in handcuffs.

The major crimes unit was investigating.
