OTTAWA has provided $44,500 toward the replacement of the evaporator condenser at the River Heights Community Centre, which will allow the centre to maintain standards for various ice sports and ensure its long-term viability.
"The arena at our River Heights site is a key part of our community," said Pat O'Connor, president of the Corydon Community Centre board. "This funding goes a long way in helping us upgrade a condenser unit that was installed in 1975."
