Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is looking for route marshals for the CIBC Run for the Cure, Sept. 30, 7:30-11 a.m. Provide directions, ensure the safety of participants, guide runners and walkers and re-energize them by cheering as they pass by. Volunteers must be 18 and able to stand throughout the duration of the event. www.cbcf.org .

Crohn's and Colitis Foundation needs volunteers to help out in the planning stages of the Gutsy Walk scheduled for June 2013. Positions include: media/PR captain, sponsorship captain, entertainment captain and volunteer captain. Information: Lesleyllewis@ccfc.ca or 204-235-0891.

Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society needs enthusiastic public outreach volunteers to help sell the 2013 Boreal Wilderness Calendar at various locations throughout the city. Information: Joshua 204-949-0782 or joshuap@cpawsmb.org .

Craig Street Cats is looking for cat shelter volunteers. Duties include cleaning litter boxes and cat pens, feeding cats and light cleaning. In addition, an events co-ordinator is needed to plan events throughout the year. Information: Shylaja or Lynn cats@wolseleygirl.com or 204-421-1919.
