Manitoba Arts Network is looking for a volunteer graphic designer. Interested applicants must be comfortable using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; be able to work remotely from home using their own computer and Adobe CS6 software. The volunteer will be using existing design templates to create posters and brochures for programs and events. Information: mbartsnet.ca or visualarts@mbartsnet.ca.

Habitat For Humanity is recruiting volunteers for Youth Build 2014, being held Aug. 14. Pick up a hammer and build for a great cause! If you are between the ages of 16 and 24, willing to work hard and follow instructions, apply at habitat.mb.ca/get-youthbuild.cfm.

The Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba is seeking volunteers for Dragon Boat 2014. Volunteer duties include: assisting with check-in and registration area, 50/50 raffle sales, site set and tear-down (light lifting) and merchandise sales. Volunteers needed: Sept. 12, noon-8 p.m.; Sept. 13, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; Sept. 14, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Information: goodbear.mb.ca or goodbear@mts.net.
