Folklorama is seeking a dynamic, outgoing person with endless amounts of energy to fill the very large shoes of the official mascot, the Folklorama Llama! The official mascot has been a part of the festival since 1986 and is a very important community-relations ambassador for Folklorama during the annual festival and throughout the year at various community events. CNIB needs an administrative assistant for reception duties Mondays, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Duties may include: covering the front desk during breaks, handling a multi-line phone system, checking appointments, entering data, researching/creating spreadsheets. Society for Manitobans with Disabilities requires help with the Run, Walk or Roll for Ability, Manitoba Marathon, June 15. Volunteers will cheer on Super Runners and direct participants to appropriate lanes (full, relay or 10K). Information: www.smd.mb.ca/volunteering.
