A & O: Support Services for Older Adults is seeking visitors for: Older adult female in Transcona looking for a female visitor to converse, play cards or go for coffee; Older adult female in Wolseley area would like someone to play Canasta with (female preferred); Older adult female in Westwood looking for female to go out for coffee; Older adult male in River Heights seeks a female visitor for conversation in Tagalog; Older adult female in Garden City is seeking a visitor for conversation in Italian. Muscular Dystrophy Canada is recruiting volunteers to help at information booths in Safeway stores Aug. 9 and 10. Spend a few hours handing out information about Muscular Dystrophy Canada and assist store staff with fundraising activities.
