A 24-year-old woman from Sapotaweyak Cree Nation is dead after her van rolled and landed in the Bell River.
Police responded to a call around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Provincial Road 482, about 12 kilometres west of Sapotaweyak. The minivan was upright in the river, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe alcohol was a factor, and are not certain she was wearing a seatbelt. She was ejected from the van.
