MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Be aware that the next few years are going to be boot camp because the resources of others might be cut off or diminished, forcing you to stand on your own two feet. Why? It's to prepare you for a wonderful career peak in about five years. You have to be performance ready!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You're entering a two-year window where partnerships will be challenging. Partnerships that are shaky will probably end. Certainly all partnerships will undergo transformations so that they can endure. It's just what it is.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You're entering a period of hard work that will make you feel overwhelmed in the next few years. Nevertheless, you will persevere and, in fact, you will start to get recognition for your efforts. With Jupiter still in your sign until July, this is a fortunate time for you.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

A love affair with someone of an age difference or someone older might take place in the next few years. Whatever you encounter with someone else will be a positive growth experience for you. You might need to practise your scales or a particular technique to improve whatever you do.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You definitely want to do something so that you feel secure about where you live. You want a home base you can trust, something that gives you a warm feeling in your tummy. Tackle renovations and home repairs or whatever it takes to do the job.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Without question, many of you are going to be looking at a residence change or a job change in the next two years, even if you don't think so at this very moment. (The Shadow knows.) You're putting the final touches on the new you that you started in 2007-08.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Many travel opportunities await you in the coming year. Others will explore opportunities in publishing, the media, higher education, the law or medicine. And by next year, you can put your name up in lights.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You can definitely benefit from the wealth and resources of others this year. You will receive cash, gifts, inheritances, money back from the government or possibly the use of something that someone else owns. Perhaps your partner gets a raise?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Close friendships and partnerships are definitely blessed for you this year. This will be particularly meaningful at a time when you will start to give up people, places and possessions -- something you can expect over the next two-to-three years.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Focus on every opportunity possible to improve your job, or get a better job, or work with people you like (yes, your evil boss could get transferred) -- all these are possible now. Even your health can improve. That's what you've got going for you this year!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Romance, love affairs, vacations, sports, the arts and all the fun stuff will be super highlighted for your sign this year. Just grab the baton and run. (Mom always liked you best.) You have much pleasure and enjoyment to look forward to. (Lucky Aquarius.)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is the year when you are going to make all the vibes at home real cosy. Family members will be warmer and more generous to each other. And for some reason, you'll feel richer where you live. Incidentally, this blessing extends to real estate, which means real-estate deals this year will be profitable for you.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Nathan Lane (1956) shares your birthday. You are a perfectionist who pays painstaking attention to details. Many of you develop a special technique, which, of course, you perfect. You have excellent timing and can be entertaining. You're also very realistic about life although you exude an easy-going attitude. (You are also quite lucky.) In the year ahead, your focus will be on partnerships and close friendships.
