  • Map of the track of the balloon before students at the University of Winnipeg lost the signal.  The yellow dot on the right (east) is the last known location; it may have flown further east or the signal was lost and it travelled east before falling.

It was expected to have fallen about 80 km east of the city...so people in that area should be on the lookout for it.  Look for a small white styrofoam box with a small orange parachute attached.
