Bart was rescued from an unkind, neglectful owner when he was just a puppy. When we adopted him at six months he weighed 61 pounds. He now weighs 122 lbs. and is proud to be a St. John’s Ambulance therapy dog who regularly visits a nearby retirement home. — Mary Jane Smith, Winnipeg
