Melissa Fay Hillman, Winnipeg's first baby of the new year (1988) is shown off by her proud parents, Stan and Lila Hillman, at Victoria General Hospital. Melissa, born when 1988 was only two minutes old, weighed in at seven pounds, 15.5 ounces.
