Harjit Kaur Singh celebrates New Year's Day with her son, Winnipeg's first baby of 1985. The as yet unnamed son of Harjit Singh and Harjit Kaur Singh was born at 12:32 a.m. at the St. Boniface General Hospital and weighed six pounds, 6.5 ounces.
