Mrs. Eldred Mancer, 33, holds her hours-old daughter, Winnipeg's first baby of 1979. The eight-pound two-ounce baby was born at 12:38 a.m. Monday at the Women's Pavilion. The father, Terry Mancer, a dentist, said the girl hasn't been named as yet. The Mancers have two other children, Evan, 6, and Leanne 3.
