    The Bombers had a promising start against the B.C. Lions Saturday, holding onto the lead for a good portion of the game. Unfortunately, the Lions managed to edge them out, winning 28-23 and ending the Bombers' playoff hopes for another year.

    The Cyclocross championship event took place in Winnipeg Saturday. Elite and amateur racers from across the country competed for opportunity to wear Canada’s National Champion’s jersey. Racing occurred throughout the day with various age groups in men's and women's races took to the course.
