Here today, gone to Costa Rica tomorrow
There has been much speculation about Brian Pallister's recent announcement he was retiring from politics. There was a strong theory at work that Pallister was considering a return to provincial politics, which would likely be bad news for current provincial tory leader Hugh McFadyen. If appearances can be trusted, this appears to be more of a "Freedom 55" kind of thing for Pallister than a back-door back into provincial politics.Turns out Pallister is building a vacation house in Costa Rica. With a successful family business that provides insurancce and financial planning to retiring farmers, and now a getaway cottage in a warm climate, it doesn't appear that Brian needs either the life demands or grief of a life in politics.Best of luck Brian in your new life.-30-
